Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over three years. The company emerged to be the top on the list of Singapore companies on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2012, due to the company’s impressive 2,019% revenue growth over the past three years.
Founder and Group CEO of Garena, Forrest Li, credit its business model and strong fundamentals which enabled the company to succeed in the fast-growing online gaming market in Southeast Asia and Taiwan.

This year marks the eleventh year of the Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific programme ranks the region’s 500 fastest growing technology firms. The average revenue growth of the top 500 firms came in at 467%, just under 2011’s 476% and far above 2010’s 374%.
